What is sun macerated?
Sun macerated is harnessing the power of the sun to bask the oil. Macerating works best when done in gentle heat.
 
We follow the traditional way of doing this, which involves putting the dried plant matter and oil in an airtight container and placing it in a warm sunny location for a few weeks. The sunshine will gently heat the oil and extract many of the plant's properties.
 
Our herbs infused hair oil is basked in sun for 7-8 weeks, filtered and mixed with cold pressed sesame oil & lavender essential oil. 
 
Cold Pressed Coconut Oil is infused in herbs, good for hair care like Bhringraj, Amla, Hibiscus Leaves and Petals, Tulsi, Vetiver, Methi Seeds, Kalonji Seeds, Aloe Vera, Baby Onions, Curry Leaves, Rose Petals, Guava Leaves, Rosemary leaves, Neem leaves, Lemon grass, Moringa leaves Bilva leaves and more.

Why do we promote Sun macerated oils over deep fried oil with herbs?
By sun macerating, the cold pressed oils will retain its properties, which otherwise would have been lost due to heating.

Do you consume it? It's not safe to consume or use deep-fried oil. Then why use deep-fried herbs oil for hair care.
Does it retain all the nutrients of a cold pressed oil?
No, it doesn't.
