Our vetiver scrubbers are made by hand - the vetiver roots are rolled and stitched by cotton thread by rural women of Tamil Nadu.
Ayurveda has long praised Vetiver/khus for its potent skin-regenerating, anti-inflammatory, healing and muscle-relaxant properties, Traditionally known to be beneficial for aches, pains and improving circulation, its subtle and earthy aroma is great for grounding one's emotions and relieving tension.
The sweet, rich, earthy woody fragrance permeates the skin, giving a cooling and calming effect and helps mask body odours.
Vetiver scrubbers are natural exfoliator and are ideal bath accessory to relax the entire body, Gentle daily exfoliation buffs away dead skin cells and impurities, which is vital to your skin care regime and keeps skin soft, smooth and naturally radiant.
Note: Do not exfoliate your skin if you are sunburned or have any open cuts or wounds.
Packaging
It comes in a simple food grade paper cover with paper tapes and paper sticker label.
End of Life
Packaging - you can compost or send it for recycling.
Product - At the end of its useful life the scrubs can be cut into pieces and composted or can be added to the pots for covering the drainage holes.
Usage Instructions
Usage: Soak the the vettiver scrub in water for 10 to 15mins before use. Either use alone or after applying bath powder. Move in a gentle, circular motion to exfoliate. Post using wash and allow the scrub to dry after use.
The soaked water is beneficial for skincare and haircare, use it to wash your hair and skin.
How often you must exfoliate depends on your skin type - -
Normal skin: Daily
Oily skin: Four times a week
Dry skin: Once a week
Combination skin: 4-5 times a week
Sensitive skin: Once a week
